Colleen had a great Halloween
between two events at local churches and her school Fall party.
She was
a
little pirate - by her choice! She had been saying she wanted
to be a pirate since September, so momma let her be a little pirate!

Wow,
my baby girl is now THREE! Where has the time gone! They
say time flies when you are having fun and they are so right.
It has been a while since I updated, so I am sure there are lots of
things to say, but I will keep it the update brief! At her
three-year check-up, Colleen was 37.5" tall and 30 lbs, which means
she is now in the 50% for weight and height (a first!). She is
still developing great. The doc did a couple of little "tests"
on her and she did very well and he said those are usually "tests"
he does for four-year olds.
She is still enjoying gymnastics and shooting her bow. We have moved her to a new gymnastics class recently and she is adjusting to it, and likes doing the new tricks for that class! She still loves singing and dancing around all the time and has developed a love for dolls and playing dress up! Plus, as they say, "kids say the darndest things", that includes Colleen. I think because we got such a kick out of if the first time she did it, she decided to do it on a daily basis now: if you ask her what she learned at school today, her response is "I didn't learn anyting"! It's cute and funny, yet I know she did learn something! I am also proud to say we are potty trained! We may have an occasional accident, but overall, we are trained!!!
As part of turning three, her birthday present from mommy and daddy was a new big girl room and furniture. She has adjusted well to sleeping in a bigger bed. (Since it has been a while since the last update and we have had a milestone, I have transitioned the older stuff already!)
