About Us
Russell and I have been married since June 1996. We currently
reside in Huntsville, Texas - the proud home of Sam Houston State
University -
Go Bearkats!! I am currently
employed by the College of Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State
University. Russell works at the Furniture Factory for the Texas
Department of Criminal Justice - Ellis Unit. I received my undergrad
degree in 1999 in Criminal Justice and after taking a break, decided
to go back for a graduate degree in January 2004. I completed my
Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice in December 2005.
We both enjoy shooting archery. Russell has
been shooting for around 15-20 years. He began his archery hobby
through hunting as a child and progressed into the 3D archery
competition. In the past couple of years, he has expanded his
interest to indoor and field archery. He still hunts and as you can
see in the photo gallery, he is an awesome shot!! I also enjoy
shooting; however, I have only been shooting for about 1-2 years. I
took a year lay off to go back to graduate school and have come back
to the sport in the past couple of months. Our archery interest has
provided us the opportunity to meet many new friends and travel
around the United States seeing new sights and sounds. I also enjoy
scrapbooking, which I have only been doing for about a year or so
too. The new addition to the family will be give me lots of
opportunities to scrapbook now!
